The Club
Chartered on 18th July 1980. Club No. 17851 in District 9630
Membership is by invitation and the club meet weekly to build friendship and discuss objectives.
The Rotary Club of Ipswich City meets each Wednesday morning.
We are non- political, nonsectarian organisation with the motto: Service Above Self
Whatever Rotarians do through the Rotary, they do so as volunteers.
During the past three/four years the club has:
- Fundraised via Razzamatazz Show
- Provided Youth Assistance through RYLA
- Supported Rotary Foundation
- Supported various Charities and Not for Profit Organisations
On the home front the Rotary Club of Ipswich City continues to make a difference:
- Annual Mark Marsh Memorial Tennis Day
- Annual HANS BBQ
- Continuing support of local charities
- Through these and many other projects the club continues to give extensive service to the city of Ipswich and to prove that Rotary’s motto of Service above Self is alive and well
