2024 Ipswich Spring Garden Competition Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility:
- The competition is open to all residents and entities within Ipswich City and the surrounding regions.
- Entrants must comply with all competition rules and regulations.
- Ipswich City Club Rotary Members and immediate family members of the Rotary Club of Ipswich City are ineligible to participate.
- Entry Submission:
- Entrants must register for the competition by 15th August 2024.
- Each entrant must submit a completed entry form along with a current Certificate of Currency showing Public Liability Insurance.

- General Presentation & WOW Factor: 30 Points
- Planning & Layout: 20 Points
- Breadth & Depth of Plant Varieties Creating Cohesive Theme: 20 Points
- Health & Vigour of Plants: 10 Points
- Sustainable Cultivation and Water Conservation Strategies: 10 Points
- Unusual and Unique Features: 10 Points
- Total Points: 100 Points

- Prizes:
- Below outlines the prizes available to be selected and awarded by the judges:
- Grand Champion Garden: $1000
- Category Winner: $500
- Category Runner-Up: $250

- Judging Process:
- Judging will take place between 30th August – 1st September 2024
- A panel of qualified judges appointed by the Rotary Club of Ipswich City will assess all entries.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the competition.
- Winners Announcement:
- Winners will be announced at the Ipswich Spring Garden Competition Awards Ceremony on 4th September 2024.
- Winners will be notified via email or phone prior to the awards ceremony.
- Publicity:
- By participating in the competition, entrants grant permission to the Rotary Club of Ipswich City to use their names, images, and garden photographs for promotional purposes without compensation.
- Liability:
- The Rotary Club of Ipswich City and its affiliates are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the competition.
- Entrants are responsible for the maintenance and safety of their gardens during judging.
- Disqualification:
- The Rotary Club of Ipswich City reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be in violation of the competition rules or engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Amendment of Terms:
- The Rotary Club of Ipswich City reserves the right to amend or modify the competition terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Agreement to Terms:
- Participation in the Ipswich Spring Garden Competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
